This evening was Kaden's first flag football practice. He was SO excited to start playing... and was even MORE excited when he found out he and his best friend, Braydon, were going to play on the same team!! Here is a picture of them practicing in smaller groups, they were split into three... Kaden is the one wearing the orange shirt. It was so funny, they came in for a water break and Kaden said to me, "I need to go run!" and with that he took off down the track and ran a 200m full speed!! When he finished, he came back and said, "Okay, I'm done," and ran over to begin practice again. Hahaha, Shelly and I were laughing so hard! If there is an award given out at the end of the season for the most heart, Kaden will most DEFINITELY get it!!!! He's NEVER afraid to try a new sport and tries to give it everything he can... I ran a 5k road race the end of April and Kaden said he wanted to run it with me, but he ended up doing the mile instead!

All during practice, the sky was an absolute beautiful blue and full of big, fluffy clouds. But just as practice ended, this awful dark cloud had crept in... and the wind started blowing so hard, we were getting dirt in our eyes! JUST as we got settled in the car, the rain started pouring down!! As we were driving, I found it amusing that in all the dark sky you could still see a small opening of the blue sky above. That's Georgian rain for ya!!!!!
